Creative strategist for DTC brands on Meta

I find out why your customers really buy. Then I turn it into ads.

Research first, then 20 or 40 ad ideas a month your team can make. I write the scripts and make the static ads, your editor makes the videos. For brands spending $15k+ a month on Meta.

How the bonus works: I only get it when my ads beat your own bar

The bar is how your new ads from the last 30 days did. Beat it, and I get a small share of the spend on my ads. Miss it, and I get nothing extra.

Example: my ads spend $8,000 in a month and beat your old ROAS by 0.20. My bonus is 3%, so $240.

Martin Lostak with a laptop

I'm Martin, and I do the research and write every idea myself.

9 years in marketing, the last 3 as a creative strategist for DTC brands on Meta. No juniors, no account managers. I research and write in English and native German.

I never studied marketing. At 15 we had to leave Czechia, and in Vienna I learned people like a school subject, because I had to. Now I do it for your customers: their words, their reasons to buy. The full story is pinned on my X →

Common questions, and the terms I work on.

Can you guarantee 10x ROAS?

No. The people who can also have a 6-month contract. What I can promise: every idea comes from something your customers said, and you see the reason behind each one before it runs.

How do I know you're any good before I commit?

Try me first: a $150 call, a $400 trial or the $997 audit. Each comes off your first month. You can also read the research sample and my Upwork reviews.

Do you take a % of our ad spend?

No. Flat monthly fee. Optional bonus: 2 to 5% of the spend on my ads, only when they beat your own bar. Never a % of your total ad spend.

Who actually does the work?

I do. I do the research and write every idea myself.

Isn't this just ChatGPT?

I use AI for speed, for example to sort reviews and comments. The research and the judgment are mine: I read what real customers say, pick the angles and check every line before you see it.

What counts as one idea?

One brief: 3 to 5 opening lines, the script and the call to action. A new angle, a new script or a new format is a new idea.

Who makes the ads?

I write the scripts and make the static ads. I don't make videos, AI or filmed. Your editor makes them from my scripts and I give notes on each cut, 2 rounds per batch.

How do I know it's the ads and not my page?

Look at where people drop off. If they scroll past the ad, the ad is the problem. If they click but don't buy, look at the page and the offer first. I check this before I write anything, so new ideas don't get blamed for a page problem.

What if I want changes?

2 rounds per idea, each done within 2 workdays. Changing the angle, the audience or the main message counts as a new idea.

When do we decide if an ad worked?

Before each batch goes live we agree how much to spend and how many days to wait. Then we judge it, not before.

Where does everything live?

One shared creative roadmap sheet with every idea, test and result, and a Drive folder with every brief.

How fast do you reply?

Within 24 hours on workdays.

Can I get more ideas, or pause?

You can move up a plan any month. There is no pause. To stop, give 14 days notice.

What are the terms?
  • Pay at the start of each month. Ideas you don't use don't carry over.
  • No hourly bills, unless you ask for extra work and agree to it first ($130 an hour).
  • The ideas are yours once paid: scripts, copy, briefs.
  • Your accounts stay yours. Your team runs tracking, ad accounts and the website.
How does the bonus get paid?
